Have you ever dreamt of scaling icy cliffs with nothing but a couple of ice axes? No? Ok. However, if you love a good adrenaline rush then SUMMIT is the game for you.

SUMMIT is a game made for the 2024 GMTK Game Jam (get it? scale as in scaling a cliff...)

i think that there is a bug that makes the hooks auto detach if you take them out from the snow to early and plant them back in the ice before the timer would normally go out. aside from that one bug this was an awesome game

loved playing the game I hope you will make it into something bigger in the future

I'm thinking maybe I should try add multiplayer and proximity chat.

This game was awesome! Had a blast getting to the top. Maybe this was an obvious feature, but if you held w and pressed jump right after putting in your pickaxe, it would propel you up the mountain. Intended or exploit it was super fun :)

Yeah one of my friends actually said they found a super launch mechanic as well. Glad you enjoyed it!

Excellently well made game! Just to let you know, you haven't actually submitted this to the jam page yet.

Thanks! I'm just letting it be play tested a bit for bugs.

Ohhhh you can edit it while it's submitted...

If you find any major bugs please let me know :)

Ok that is next level theme interpretation. Really cool atmosphere in your game!

5 Stars boom

Thanks

I looked at your YouTube Chanel and I see you make music too. I commented under your first song if I could use it as the credits music of a upcoming game... (I would give you credits of curse to your Youtube/itch.io page)

Yeah sure thing!

Thanks!
